Working in Partnership With UK Schools
We work in local schools providing additional English and Maths support for students.
Our Phoenix Academy Clicks Programme is comprehensive and caters specifically for the individual needs of each student.
The programme introduces (as necessary) and consolidates essential skills and concepts in Maths and English in a child
friendly format and is compatible with the UK National Curriculum and adapted for the USA.
Students on the whole gain confidence and evidence of progress is reflected quite quickly in their performance in school.
Our programme is particularly effective when used as a remedial intervention.
Our programme is effective used alone or as a supplement.
How it works
In the first instance we give each student a simple test to ascertain areas of strength and weakness.
We provide the appropriate work booklets
We monitor progress after each session.
Study sessions are for 1 hour.
Staff pupil ratio is 1 : 10 (At our discretion and in addition, we generally send an assistant tutor)
Sessions are held: Before school, during the school day or after school.
Each study group: 10 students
