Lauren Bacchus qualified as a teacher in London, England, in 1975. During her many years as a full time teacher, she gained extensive experience teaching children in the UK State sector. Always mindful of the need for children to receive an education of a high standard yet catering for each student's unique needs, she began developing her own Maths and English Curriculum.

In 1988 Lauren went on to co-develop an independent preparatory day school which gave her further opportunity to introduce and road test her curriculum.

Since 1998 she has worked on the development of the Phoenix Curriculum and more recently introduced the Phoenix Clicks Home Study Programme.

Her hands on experience and vast knowledge of children's learning, has enabled her to develop the Phoenix Clicks Learning programmes, which have proven to be very successful in raising standards in a relatively short period of time.

Phoenix Academy Limited has helped thousands of children to gain confidence and improve their skills in Maths and English.

"We owe it to all our children to enable them to be proficient and confident in basic skills. I believe that a good solid understanding of Maths and English is essential if we are to equip our children with the confidence to develop at their best rate and to open up choices in their lives"
